Jamie Williams & The Roots Collective

GARDEN EVENT This is a no-nonsense, quintessentially British RnB / Blues band .  What sets them apart from the crowd is the quality of  their original songs.  From the opening drum patter and blues harp, to the tremolo guitar tones.. the song-craft is in-your- face and personal.  In between, there’s some all-out- rock,  and some welcome acoustic respite.  All of which serves to confirm that this is a band most definitely worth seeing  live.

Bruise

Stompin Dave & Sam Kelly

  The ever popular multi-talented maestro linking up with the ubiquitous, evergreen drumming legend Sam Kelly, is exactly the right combination. Moving from glorious Honky Tonk, to banjo and have every note of Sam’s percussion clearly audible to savour.  The Second half steps up a gear and marks a definite change of style preceded by some fine harp and keys and some awesome dexterity on the banjo, treating it just like a lead guitar.

Playing a blend of Balkan, Klezmer, Hot Jazz, Swing    and  Americana music, both original and traditional.  Their Performance evokes the old world and the new, the eerily haunting sounds from the east, with  definite roots in the west.
